We all know the classic story of “Little Red Cap” or as most people know it, “Little Red Riding Hood” a commonly known tale. Told to us all as a childhood story. A story used to warn us about the cautionary dangers of venturing off into a path that your parents didn’t pave for you. Going toward the darkness instead of light. Little Red Riding Hood has many different versions, but the original version by the Brothers Grimm has been turned into many other versions. The image above represents the concept of how naïve Little Red Cap is as she ventures off into the forsaken path. The image above shows a humorous meaning behind Red Riding Hood’s decision to choose the wrong path and falling into desire. The males portrayed in the picture is the wolf and the hunter.

The males in the tale are separated in two forms: the dangerous reducer who if given into, turns into the destroyer of the good grandmother and the girl; while the hunter is the strong responsible, strong, and rescuing father figure. The symbolism of the wolf is the Hunter, his inner hero : In the tale the hunter seen as the most attractive figure to boys as well as girls, because he rescues the good and punishes the bad. He’s the hero in the story. The wolf is the “old sinner” the inner beast side of the hunter. Which is portrayed in the image when we see both the wolf and hunter all together in one car.
